Education Essentials Fund

In March 2020, the COVID pandemic shut down much of Uganda. Students were sent home and teachers were left without work. In order to support schools reopening and the extraordinary needs of their students - after the longest educational disruption anywhere in the world - we started the Education Essential Fund. Funds raised during 2021 retained talented teachers, purchased books and uniforms, provided school lunches and allowed schools to comply with government health and safety regulations.
