Building a New Tomorrow

Only 1 in 4 children who start primary school in Uganda, make it to secondary school. Working along side local leaders and experienced administrators, we will build a new primary school with a standard of academic excellence. Our students will be prepared to continue their education and be leaders in their families and communities.

The site for our primary school is in Mityana, Uganda (site pictured above) - a mid-size town and farming community which is small enough for our school to have a meaningful impact and large enough to attract talented students and teachers while sustaining a tuition-based program.

Our goal is to enroll 400 students in nursery school through P7 - the equivalent of preschool through 8th grade - with two classrooms for each grade. The school will have dormitories, a kitchen, library and soccer field. A solar powered well will provide clean and safe water to the school.

Site Plans for Mityana Primary School

Below are the preliminary designs for our primary school campus. The buildings were designed to enroll up to 400 students in nursery school through P7 with two classrooms per grade. The facilities will provide the students with a conducive learning environment and attract top teachers. It will include a clean, on-site water supply, private bathrooms, kitchen with dining hall and a library. Faculty will have their own meeting space. Dormitories will be built to accommodate boarding students.
